TechMuz helps you research a PC build. It does not sell the hardware, guarantee a particular result or replace the exact manuals and specifications for the parts you purchase.
1. The service
TechMuz provides informational tools and content for planning, comparing and researching personal computers. The service may include a PC Build Advisor, component and prebuilt catalogs, pair-level and full-build compatibility checks, price references, editorial guides and links to third-party merchants.
References to “TechMuz,” “we,” “us” or “our” mean the operator of techmuz.com. “You” means any visitor or user of the service.
2. Eligibility and acceptance
By accessing or using TechMuz, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. TechMuz is designed for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the service only with a parent or guardian.
No account is currently required. A merchant may impose separate age, account, payment, shipping and purchase requirements.
3. Recommendations, estimates and compatibility
Recommendations are informational and depend on the product data, user selections, rules and evidence available when a result is generated. A recommendation is not a promise of performance, safety, availability, fitness for a particular purpose or future upgrade support.
- Compatibility results can be limited by missing, outdated or conflicting specifications.
- “Compatible” means the available data passes the rules TechMuz evaluated. It does not guarantee every physical, firmware, electrical, operating-system or driver interaction.
- Performance, power, thermal, noise and workload conclusions may combine official specifications, third-party measurements, rules and estimates.
- BIOS revisions, bundled accessories, regional SKUs and manufacturer changes can affect the exact item you receive.
Before buying or assembling a system, confirm the exact model and revision with the manufacturer's current specifications, manuals, support lists and installation instructions. Use qualified assistance where electrical safety, warranty coverage or installation risk is involved.
4. Prices, inventory and merchants
TechMuz does not currently process hardware purchases. Prices, discounts, shipping, taxes, availability, warranties, returns and product condition are controlled by the merchant. Price and stock information can change after it is checked, and an older reference may remain visible with a freshness warning.
The merchant's product page and checkout terms control the transaction. Confirm the exact model, seller, condition, price and delivery details before purchase. TechMuz is not responsible for a transaction between you and Newegg, Dell, Best Buy or another third party.
5. Affiliate and sponsored content
Some outbound links may be affiliate links. If you make a qualifying purchase after following one of those links, TechMuz may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate status is disclosed near applicable buying options where available.
Commission does not determine compatibility results and does not guarantee top placement. Sponsored placements or other material commercial relationships will be identified as such. TechMuz may continue to show a useful merchant or product even when no affiliate relationship exists.
6. Acceptable use
You may use TechMuz for lawful, personal research. You may not:
- interfere with, overload, probe or bypass the security or normal operation of the service;
- use automated access in a way that disregards published technical controls or materially degrades the service;
- submit malicious code, misrepresent your identity or use the service to violate another person's rights;
- reproduce, resell or republish a substantial portion of the TechMuz catalog, editorial content or rule system as a competing database or service; or
- imply TechMuz endorsement of a product, merchant or statement without written permission.
7. Intellectual property
TechMuz's brand, original writing, interfaces, selection and arrangement of data, software and compatibility logic are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names, trademarks and media belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes.
These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to access and use the service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of any TechMuz or third-party content.
8. Third-party services
TechMuz links to manufacturer, evidence and merchant websites for convenience and source transparency. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not mean that TechMuz controls, guarantees or endorses every aspect of the destination.
9. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TECHMUZ AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TECHMUZ WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, PROFITS, SAVINGS, OPPORTUNITY OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE, A RECOMMENDATION, A COMPATIBILITY RESULT, A THIRD-PARTY SITE OR A HARDWARE PURCHASE.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid TechMuz to use the affected service in the preceding 12 months or USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Changes and availability
We may update, correct, suspend or discontinue features, data or content. We may also revise these terms. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
12. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer these terms as part of a reorganization, financing, acquisition or sale of the service.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules and without taking away mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
